Maison Goldberg Bijouterie is a direct descendant of Lou Goldberg Jeweller founded in 1946, which closed its doors in 2016 after 70 years as one of Canada’s finest jewellery retailers. Lou’s sons, the late Shelly, Joel and Eric joined the business and took Lou Goldberg Jeweller across Canada and had many international customers as well. They built a worldwide network of some of the finest suppliers who also supplied some of the most famous brands. Lou Goldberg Jeweller was always ahead of the curve bringing international designers and watch brands to Montreal.
International Jewellery Designer & GIA Graduate Gemologist
Keely Goldberg
His daughter Keely, herself a 10-year veteran, has joined the firm as production manager and designer. Her experience in manufacturing and design is second to none. Keely is also a Graduate Gemologist from the GIA. She lived for years in Thailand where she was the colored stone buyer and a diamond quality sorter for a large manufacturing company. Her experience in Thailand led her to the next step in her jewellery education: design. She studied design and jewellery making in Florence, Italy. After her experience learning the traditional Florentine jewellery making techniques, she completed the CAD/CAM and technology certification at the GIA. Her constant pursuit to expand her knowledge and expertise has lead her all over the world, allowing her to experience the industry on an international level.

Joel Goldberg
Joel Goldberg was a GIA Graduate Gemologist with more than 35 years of experience in the sourcing of precious and semi-precious gemstones and the creation of fine jewellery. As former president of Lou Goldberg Jeweller, Joel was the principal buyer of coloured stones and watches, sourcing exceptional gemstones from around the world.
A respected estate-jewellery appraiser and court-recognized expert witness, Joel’s knowledge and passion for gemology continue to be an important part of the foundation and legacy of Maison Goldberg Bijouterie.
